Morphed images of students and teachers stored in phone; case registered against students in Kannur

Kannur: A case has been registered against college students for morphing images of female students and teachers and storing them on their phones in Kannur. According to the Karikkottakary police, the students involved, against whom cases have been registered, are Shan, Sharon, and Akhil, who are students of Don Bosco College, Angadikkadavu, Iritty. 

The incident came to light when the phone containing the morphed images was passed to another student. The student promptly informed the principal of the college about it.

Following the principal's complaint, the Karikkottakary police registered a case under the IT Act against the three students. It is expected that the college authorities will also take action against the students involved in the incident.
