Aligarh: A disagreement over honking and road passage allegedly ended in the death of a motorcyclist in Uttar Pradesh’s Aligarh, after an Audi struck his two-wheeler and ran over him, according to allegations made by the victim’s family.

The incident occurred at around 11 pm on October 20 in the Bannadevi police station area. The victim, Manoj, was riding the motorcycle when an argument reportedly broke out with the occupants of the Audi over the movement of vehicles on the road.

The family alleges that the car hit the motorcycle from behind during the dispute. Manoj fell onto the road, after which the vehicle allegedly ran over him, resulting in his death.

Kanhaiya, who was travelling on the motorcycle as a pillion rider, was injured. According to Aligarh SP City Aditya Bansal, Kanhaiya told police that the collision was intentional and that the Audi ran over Manoj after he fell.
