21-year-old model-student allegedly stabbed to death inside Delhi home

A young woman's screams shattered the quiet of a Delhi neighbourhood on Wednesday. Moments later, neighbours rushed to a house in Old Mahavir Nagar and found 21-year-old Muskan critically injured and lying in a pool of blood.
Muskan, a student who also worked as a model, was allegedly stabbed to death while she was alone at her home in the Tilak Nagar area.
The attacker fled after the incident and remains at large, with police teams now working to trace him.
According to a friend who spoke to IANS, the suspected attacker has been identified as Imran, a gym trainer who knew Muskan and went to the same gym.
The friend said he received a call informing him that she had been attacked after someone entered her house.
'The boy's name was Imran. He was a gym trainer at the same gym where Muskan used to work out,' the friend told IANS.
Police, however, have not officially confirmed the suspect's identity or established a motive for the killing.
Investigators are also trying to reconstruct what happened inside the house before the alleged stabbing.
Neighbours were alerted after hearing Muskan's screams. They rushed to the house and found her seriously injured before informing the authorities.
The suspected attacker is believed to have escaped from the area following the incident.
Police teams are examining CCTV footage from the neighbourhood in an effort to establish his movements and piece together the sequence of events leading to Muskan's death.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Abhishek Gupta said teams were working to locate the accused.
'We are searching for the culprit. The police are doing their job. You will be informed as soon as further information becomes available,' Gupta said.
Police said Muskan and the suspected attacker were known to each other. The circumstances surrounding the killing, including the motive and what transpired inside the house, are yet to be established.
The investigation remains underway, with police continuing their search for the suspect and examining CCTV recordings for further clues.
