TV actress Vasantha falls into septic tank while cleaning yard, escapes unhurt

A 75-year-old Malayalam television actress, Vasantha, accidentally fell into a septic tank at her residence on Sunday.

According to reports, Vasantha was cleaning the yard when the concrete slab covering the septic tank suddenly collapsed beneath her, causing her to fall into the pit. Hearing her cries for help, family members rushed to the scene and tried to rescue her using a stretcher. However, their efforts were unsuccessful.

The Vizhinjam Fire and Rescue Services were immediately alerted and quickly reached the residence. Rescue personnel carried out a carefully coordinated operation and safely pulled Vasantha out of the septic tank.

Fortunately, she escaped the incident without any injuries.
