Meanwhile, another visitor says, "We wait every year for the flower show, and it feels great. There are different types of flowers. This year’s theme is very unique and beautiful, and even this (flower) is also very good..."
The annual event is jointly organised by the Horticulture Society of Jamshedpur and Tata Steel.
According to Vice President, Corporate Services, Tata Stee, DB Sundara Ramam, "This annual flower show is being organised here for five days, from the 28th to the 1st. This is the 35th edition, which shows how consistently we have been organising this flower show. It becomes successful because citizens and the community actively participate. Jamshedpur is the third cleanest city, and similarly, we want Jamshedpur to become the greenest city as well. The annual flower show is one such initiative. Apart from this, we also organise garden competitions and conduct quizzes to sensitise people so that the younger generation can carry this forward."
The 35th Annual Flower Show at Gopal Maidan will end on January 1st with over 250 participants from across the nation showcasing their finest floral creations, leaving visitors with a lasting impression of the beauty of nature and the city's dedication to green living.
