Dehradun families urge government help as relatives remain stranded in war-torn Iran
Two families in Ambadi village in Dehradun district are living in deep anxiety as they await updates about their relatives stranded in Iran amid the ongoing conflict in the West Asian nation.
The father of a woman who lives in Iran with her husband and son said he had managed to make a brief phone call a few days ago. Hussain said the local intelligence unit had gathered details about the family, but there has been no communication or updates since then.

Meanwhile, another resident of the village, Ayub Khan has expressed deep concern for his nephew and the nephew’s wife, who are currently stranded in Iran. Highlighting the growing uncertainty of their situation, he shared his hope that the Indian government would intervene swiftly to ensure the couple's safe return home.
As the war continues with no clear signs of easing, families across India — including those in this village — remain worried and hopeful at the same time, praying for the safe return of their loved ones living in Iran and other West Asian countries.
