Chhattisgarh poised to become India’s next AI powerhouse
Chhattisgarh is set to make a historic mark on India’s digital landscape with the development of the country’s first AI-based Data Center Park. Coming up on 13.5 acres in Sector-22 of Nava Raipur, the project signals the state’s growing focus on next-generation technology infrastructure.

The upcoming facility will be fully dedicated to artificial intelligence services. It will house GPU-based high-end computing, data processing and storage, live streaming capabilities, and advanced analytics, all within a single integrated campus. The project will begin with an investment of ₹1,000 crore and is expected to expand to ₹3,000 crore in later phases.
According to Narendra Sen, CEO, Rackbank and Neevcloud: "Chhattisgarh will benefit because this is Chhattisgarh's first AI SEZ, and the country's first AI SEZ. Powered by one lakh GPUs, the data centre park will offer advanced AI processing and high-performance computing capabilities, playing a crucial role in addressing India’s future digital and computing requirements. The project is also expected to create more than 2,000 jobs. With this initiative in Nava Raipur, Chhattisgarh is taking a decisive step towards becoming a key player in Digital India’s growth story.
