Seventy-two miniature paintings on a single canvas tell the story of Lord Krishna's entire life. The extraordinary work is created by Ongole-based artist C. H. Srilakshmi from Andhra Pradesh.

Titled “Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum,” the artwork traces Lord Krishna’s journey from his playful childhood to the end of his earthly avatar. Each miniature scene blends into the next, forming a continuous visual chronicle of his life.

According to CH. Sri Lakshmi, Artist: "The painting is titled Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum. I have received two awards for this work... one from the Miracle World Record and another from the Telugu Book of World Records. The painting depicts the entire life of Lord Krishna, from his birth until the end of his avatar. It is created using 72 miniature paintings that together portray his complete life journey.”

Srilakshmi says her aim was to portray the stories of Lord Krishna through vivid imagery, allowing viewers to experience the narrative visually.

She further adds that, "If you observe closely, you can see scenes such as the birth of Lord Krishna and how (his uncle) Kansa tried to kill him... everything is depicted in detail. The paintings capture facial expressions vividly. The main intention behind this work is that when anyone views it, they should be able to recall the entire life of Lord Krishna, just like reading the Bharatam or the Bhagavad Gita.”

From an early age, Srilakshmi nurtured her dream of becoming an artist, inspired by her father. Now that she has received national recognition for her work, she hopes that audiences all over the world will appreciate her creation.
