Meri Shiksha is a cutting-edge AI-powered educational platform created by Parth Gopani, a B.E. Computer Science student at Maharaja Sayajirao University in Vadodara, Gujarat. Without discrimination, the platform seeks to provide each student with individualised tutoring support. Meri Shiksha is entirely free to use and is made to work similarly to a personal tutor, helping students along their academic path.

Parth Gopani, Portal Developer, says, "Any student will be provided guidance on where they face obstacles during their studies, what kind of problems they face, and what topics or questions they are hesitant to understand. Another important aspect is the adaptive system. As students upgrade their skills, my teaching methodology also upgrades. This is why the system is completely adaptive."

Launched in 2023, the AI-based Meri Shiksha portal follows a simple, step-by-step learning approach to help students grasp concepts effectively. In a short period, the platform has attracted over 30,000 students, with 50 to 100 new users registering daily. Recognising its potential, the Startup Cell of Maharaja Sayajirao University, with support from the Government of Gujarat, has announced financial assistance of ₹2 lakh to further strengthen the initiative.

Rajesh Shah, AI Consultant, says, "Let’s say I already know most of a subject, but there are two or three topics that I don’t understand. In a traditional classroom, I still have to pay the full fee and attend all the classes.

But when I study through AI, I can choose exactly which topics I want to learn. For example, I can say that I only want to learn three topics. If one topic costs 500 rupees, then for three topics I would pay 1500 rupees.

In today’s time, this method is proving to be more affordable and tailored to individual learning needs."

The Meri Shiksha portal integrates several advanced AI-driven features, including a personal tutor engine, skill-gap detection, and practice and assessment modules. These tools help identify learning challenges, offer instant solutions, and generate detailed progress reports, demonstrating how youth-led innovation combined with artificial intelligence can make education more inclusive, accessible, and equitable for all.
