“There is a time and place for everything.” That appears to be the message behind Sourav Ganguly’s stern warning to Bigg Boss Bangla Season 3 contestants Rajveer Dey and Nandini Dutta, whose growing closeness inside the house has become a major talking point.

The former Indian cricket captain reportedly expressed his displeasure over the duo’s frequent displays of affection, including kissing, cuddling and making out on the reality show. During an episode of Dada Darbar, Ganguly reminded the contestants that the programme caters to family audiences and warned them against crossing the limits of acceptable behaviour.

Who are Rajveer Dey and Nandini Dutta?

Rajveer Dey is a model and actor from Siliguri, West Bengal. He first attracted attention through his participation in MTV’s Roadies: Karm Ya Kaand in 2023. He subsequently entered Bigg Boss Bangla Season 3 as a wildcard contestant in September 2026, with his interactions with fellow housemate Nandini quickly becoming a subject of discussion.

Nandini Dutta, meanwhile, is a Bengali television and OTT actress. She has appeared in shows such as Basanta Bilash Messbari and Ram Krishnaa, as well as the web series Bodhon. Her participation in the reality show has introduced her to a wider audience.

Why did Sourav Ganguly warn the couple?

The pair’s growing intimacy has divided viewers. While some have shown interest in their apparent romance, others have criticised their repeated public displays of affection inside the house.

Addressing the issue on Dada Darbar, Ganguly reportedly issued a final warning to the contestants, questioning whether their conduct was appropriate for a family-oriented programme.

“I am giving a final warning to Rajveer and Nandini. It is a family show,” he said, before adding that their behaviour had crossed the line.

Ganguly also pointed out that while romance and emotional bonding were understandable, the contestants needed to exercise restraint. He reportedly told them that their actions had left both him and the show’s makers with no option but to intervene.

The host further made it clear that the programme would not endorse behaviour he considered inappropriate for its audience.

His remarks have added another layer of controversy to the Rajveer-Nandini equation, placing their relationship under greater scrutiny as Bigg Boss Bangla Season 3 continues.
