Venkatesh, Trivikram’s ‘Aadarsha Kutumbam’ gets October 30 release date

The theatrical release of Venkatesh’s upcoming Telugu entertainer ‘Aadarsha Kutumbam House No: 47 – AK 47’ has been rescheduled once again, with the makers confirming October 30 as the new date. Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, the film brings the actor and filmmaker together for the first time in a project featuring Venkatesh in the lead role.

Haarika & Hassine Creations, which is backing the film, announced the revised date on social media on the occasion of Dussehra. The production house had initially planned to release the film on October 2 before moving it to October 9. The latest announcement confirms that audiences will have to wait until the end of the month to watch the film in theatres worldwide.

Sharing the update, the production house wrote, "Circle the date and get ready for a wholesome theatrical experience! #AadarshaKutumbam is arriving in cinemas on OCTOBER 30th! Wishing everyone a very #HappyDusshera #AK47FromOct30th | #AK47 | #Venky77 | #VenkateshXTrivikram Victory @VenkyMama #Trivikram @SrinidhiShetty7 @IamRohithNara."

Venkatesh promises a wholesome entertainer

Venkatesh also confirmed the new release date while extending his Dussehra wishes to fans. The actor highlighted his reunion with Trivikram after two decades, referring to their earlier association in Telugu cinema.

"Coming together with Srinu after two decades is very special, and we’re bringing you a wholesome entertainer with fun, action and a lot more. See you all in theatres with your #AadarshaKutumbam and friends on October 30th! Happy Dussehra #AK47OnOct30 #VenkateshXTrivikram."

The film has attracted considerable attention, particularly as it marks Trivikram’s first directorial collaboration with Venkatesh in a lead role. The actor’s previous release, ‘Sankranthiki Vasthunam’, was a box-office success, adding to expectations surrounding his next project.

Although the filmmaker has not previously directed Venkatesh, the two have worked together before. Trivikram wrote the story and dialogues for the popular Telugu film ‘Nuvvu Naaku Nachav’, directed by K Vijaya Bhaskar and starring Venkatesh and Aarthi Agarwal. The film also marked Agarwal’s debut in Telugu cinema.

Srinidhi Shetty introduced as Swarna

The makers previously offered a glimpse of Srinidhi Shetty’s character in the film through an introductory video. The actor, known for her role in the ‘KGF’ franchise, plays a character named Swarna.

In the promotional clip, Venkatesh’s character, Chittibabu, complains about his wife while speaking to another person. He compares her serious demeanour with the smile of a woman he notices on a balcony opposite his home.

Chittibabu remarks, "These women only have attitude and no gratitude." He then praises the woman for smiling at him after he helped her, contrasting her behaviour with that of his wife, who, he claims, has not smiled since their wedding photographs were taken.

The video subsequently shows Swarna smiling shyly at another man, offering a brief introduction to her character and the film’s humour-driven approach.

When the production house shared the character introduction, it wrote, "Ee Aadaliki Attitude thapa Gratitude undadhu!- Chittibabu (These women only have attitude and no gratitude - Chittibabu). Meet the beautiful @SrinidhiShetty7 as “Swarna” from the world of #AadarshaKutumbam #AK47OnOCT2nd | #AK47 | #Venky77 | #VenkateshXTrivikram."

Rohith Nara joins the cast

The makers have also announced the addition of actor Rohith Nara to the film. A poster released alongside the announcement appeared to suggest that he plays a police officer, although further details about his character have not been disclosed.

The film’s title was unveiled in December last year. The announcement poster featured Venkatesh standing in the middle of a road, smiling while holding a leather bag in one hand. Before its official title was revealed, the project had been referred to as ‘Venky77’.

With Trivikram at the helm and Venkatesh leading the cast, ‘Aadarsha Kutumbam House No: 47 – AK 47’ is positioned as a family entertainer blending humour and action. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 30.
