NTR Jr mourns pet Bagheera’s death, shares unseen moments with his beloved dog

NTR Jr is mourning the loss of a beloved member of his family. The Telugu actor recently shared an emotional tribute to his pet dog Bagheera, remembering the four years they spent together and the love and companionship the Bernese Mountain Dog brought into his life.

Taking to Instagram, NTR Jr shared a series of photographs featuring Bagheera. Some of the pictures captured the actor cuddling and spending time with his furry companion, offering fans a glimpse of the bond they shared. The final photograph showed a tree planted in Bagheera’s memory, making the tribute even more poignant.

Alongside the pictures, NTR Jr opened up about what Bagheera meant to him. He recalled how the dog entered his life as a companion but gradually became much more than that.

“Bagheera, You came into my world as a companion and quietly became family,” the actor wrote.

He went on to remember the happiness Bagheera brought to his everyday life, describing the dog as a source of love, loyalty, mischief and comfort. While his pet’s absence has left a painful void, NTR Jr said the love and memories Bagheera left behind would remain with him.

The actor also thanked his four-legged companion for being by his side during their years together.

“Thank you for choosing me, for walking beside me, and for making these four years infinitely more beautiful,” he wrote, before signing off with an emotional farewell: “Run free, my little one. You were deeply loved, and you always will be.”

The heartfelt post quickly drew an outpouring of sympathy from fans and followers. Many filled the comments with broken-heart emojis and messages of condolence, while others wished Bagheera peace and comforted the actor during the difficult time. One fan wrote, “Rest in peace angel. Run free and have lots of treats.”

The emotional post comes at a time when NTR Jr is also recovering from a recent injury. The actor was discharged from KIMS Hospitals, Secunderabad, on August 13 after undergoing arthroscopic surgery for a shoulder injury.

NTR Jr had sustained the injury on July 27 while shooting for his upcoming film Dragon.

Following the injury, his team had announced that the actor had been advised to take complete rest for six to eight weeks as part of his recovery.
