London: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actor Vijay gifted actor-racer Ajith Kumar a miniature race car at the Silverstone Circuit in England, signing it with a heartfelt message for his long-time industry colleague.

Vijay wrote, “Priyamudan (With Love) Vijay to my lovely brother Ajith.” on the miniature car before presenting it to Ajith, who received the gift and thanked him for the gesture.

The meeting between the two Tamil stars took place at the Silverstone Circuit, where Vijay was the special guest of honour for the Michelin Le Mans Cup race in which Ajith competed with his team, Ajith RedAnt by Virage.

Vijay also waved the ceremonial green flag to signal the start of the 44-car grid. A video from the event showed Vijay running towards Ajith before the two shared a warm hug.

The appearance of the two stars together created a major buzz among their fans in the UK. Fans of both actors gathered at Silverstone after learning that Vijay and Ajith would attend the race.

Pictures and videos from the event quickly spread on social media, including images of Ajith receiving the miniature race car from Vijay.

The Silverstone Circuit also joined the online buzz by sharing a reel featuring Ajith, with a reference to Vijay in its Instagram caption: "We heard @actorvijay and @ajithkumarracing were in town."

The post prompted enthusiastic reactions from fans. One fan wrote, "Silverstone posting Kollywood wasn't in my bingo list for 2026."

Another commented, "Two Kings. One Frame. Millions of Goosebumps."

Actress Trisha Krishnan was also spotted at the circuit alongside Vijay and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) minister Aadhav Arjuna. She was seen in the grandstands cheering for Ajith during the race.

Trisha, who is currently in London for the shooting of her upcoming project, was also spotted in the paddock. Videos of her presence at the venue circulated widely on social media.

Vijay's appearance at Silverstone was also linked to his plans to study international sports infrastructure. His UK visit includes looking at sports facilities and infrastructure as part of efforts to support the development of a proposed "Motor Sports City" in Tamil Nadu.

Ajith competed at Silverstone as part of the Ajith RedAnt by Virage team in the Michelin Le Mans Cup.
