Urvashi, Joju George celebrate Onam with crew on set of upcoming Malayalam film Aasha | Photos

The much-loved stars of Malayalam cinema, Urvashi and Joju George, who are coming together for the first time on screen, celebrated Onam on the sets of their upcoming film "Aasha" along with the crew. Pictures from the Onam festivities and the traditional feast, sadya, featuring the actors and the team, have gone viral on social media.

The shooting of the film is progressing in Kalady and nearby locations. Alongside Urvashi and Joju George, the cast also includes Vijayaraghavan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and 'Pani" movie fame, Ramesh Girija, in pivotal roles. The film is set to release in five languages. Presented by Ajith Vinayaka Films, "Aasha" is produced by Vinayaka Ajith.

Following noted films such as Ponman, Gaganachari, Bandra, Madanolsavam, and Sarkeet, "Aasha" is the next venture from Ajith Vinayaka Films. The title look poster of the film was released recently by the makers. The film is written and directed by debutant Safar Sanal, with the screenplay and dialogues jointly crafted by Joju George, Ramesh Girija, and Safar Sanal.
