Mumbai: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar returned to Mumbai on Wednesday morning after spending some time in London, and his airport appearance instantly grabbed attention. The superstar nailed the salt-and-pepper look in an oversized grey sweatshirt, layered with a hoodie and flowy pants. A black beanie and tinted sunglasses completed his relaxed, streetwear-inspired outfit. Watch the clipping below:

While Akshay confidently carried the comfortable ensemble, social media users were quick with their witty reactions. Many joked that the actor might have raided his wife Twinkle Khanna’s, wardrobe before stepping out. One Instagram user quipped, “Twinkle Khanna be like – jaldi ghar aakar meri pyjama wapas karo (Twinkle must be saying, come home quickly and return my pyjama).”

Another user compared him to Ranveer Singh, writing, “Bhai me Ranveer Singh ghus gaye hai shayad (Looks like Ranveer Singh has entered into him).” A third added, “Ranveer ke saath rehne ke lakshan but looking cool (Signs of spending too much time with Ranveer, but looking cool).”

Despite the playful trolling, many fans admired his effortless style, noting how Akshay pulled off the look with ease.

On the professional front, Akshay is set to star in Priyadarshan’s 'Bhooth Bangla', produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms, and his own banner, Cape of Good Films. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on April 2, 2026.

He also has 'Haiwaan' in the pipeline alongside Saif Ali Khan, directed by Priyadarshan. The shoot begins in August, with a grand release planned for 2026. The film marks the duo’s reunion after nearly two decades, since their last outing in Vijay Krishna Acharya’s Tashan (2008).
