'Tum kya mile jaane jaan':Pooja Bhatt revisits hit song 30 years later

Mumbai: Actress Pooja Bhatt took a trip down memory lane on Monday, sharing a glimpse of her 1992 hit song “Tum Kya Mile Jaane Jaan” from the film 'Saatwan Aasman'.
Posting a still from the iconic song on her social media, Pooja wrote: “Like the role chooses you, the lyrics choose you too. Learned over the years that while many sing them, very few live them. Thank you #SurajSanim, for this gem.” The picture shows co-star Vivek Mushran holding Pooja in his embrace.
Saatwan Aasman, released on April 17, 1992, paired Pooja with Vivek Mushran and was directed by her father, renowned filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt. The film’s music was composed by the legendary duo Raam Laxman, while the story was penned by celebrated screenwriter Suraj Sanim, whom Pooja acknowledged in her post. Sanim, known for works such as 'Shaheed-E-Mohabbat Boota Singh' (1999), 'Sukhmani: Hope for Life' (2010), 'Heera Panna' (1973) and 'Des Pardes' (1978), has written screenplays, dialogues and stories for numerous Hindi and Punjabi films.
Pooja and Vivek’s performances were praised for their portrayal of the film’s central characters.
While Pooja was recently seen on the OTT version of the reality show Bigg Boss, where her outspoken and opinionated nature drew mixed reactions, her identity in Bollywood extends far beyond reality television. In the early 1990s, she was regarded as one of the industry’s most talented and prominent faces, starring in hits like Chaahat, Sadak and Zakhm.
Pooja also made headlines for her bold statements and photoshoots during her early career, including a controversial shoot with her father, Mahesh Bhatt, which sparked significant attention at the time.
