'Their unparalleled bravery and resilience...' Actor Tovino Thomas remembers Kargil heroes | WATCH

Mollywood’s beloved actor-producer Tovino Thomas has shared a heartfelt post on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas Rajat Jayanti 2024, honouring the brave soldiers who made countless sacrifices during the Kargil conflict of 1999. This year marks the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, a significant milestone celebrated across the nation.

The Indian Air Force is commemorating this historic victory with events at Air Force Station Sarsawa from July 12 to July 26, 2024, to pay tribute to the brave hearts who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation. The Additional Directorate General of Public Information shared a video of Tovino on their official account on the microblogging site X, accompanied by a note stating, "The nation comes together on ‘Rajat Jayanti of Kargil Vijay’ to pay tribute to our War Heroes, Bravehearts, and Veer Naris."

In the video, Tovino expresses his deep gratitude towards the war heroes.

“As we mark 25 years of Kargil Vijay Diwas, let us take a moment to honour the brave soldiers who showcased unparalleled bravery and resilience on the warfront,” he said.

“On this day, let’s express our gratitude towards them. I proudly salute these brave warriors,” Tovino added.

On the workfront, Tovino Thomas is currently working on the comedy film ‘Maranamass’, produced by himself under his banner ‘Tovino Thomas Productions’ in collaboration with Worldwide Films.

The shooting for the film, directed by debutant Sivaprasad, has commenced. 

Additionally, Tovino's highly anticipated films are set to release this year, including ‘Forensic 2’, ‘Avaran’, and ‘L2: Empuraan’.
