Dhanush, Kriti Sanon's ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ cross Rs 50 lakh in advanced booking ahead of release

Dhanush and Kriti Sanon's much-awaited romantic drama Tere Ishk Mein has opened to an impressive start with advance bookings crossing Rs 50 lakh within the first 24 hours. Directed by Aanand L Rai, the film, slated for release on November 28, has already sold nearly 18,000 tickets for its opening day, signalling a strong box office opening. Major cinema chains such as PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis have contributed immensely, selling over 10,000 tickets alone in just one day.
As the third collaboration between director Aanand L Rai and actor Dhanush, following hits like Raanjhanaa and Atrangi Re, Tere Ishk Mein has created strong anticipation among audiences. The Hindi version is leading in ticket sales with over 17,000 tickets sold, while the Tamil version has made a modest contribution. Music by A.R. Rahman, which has topped streaming charts, along with an engaging trailer, has further fueled audience excitement.
The film faces a crowded release weekend with competing titles like Gustaakh Ishq, Zootopia 2 (Hindi dubbed), and Tamil film Revolver Rita, but the lack of major Bollywood releases in the first week is expected to help Tere Ishk Mein sustain its box office traction. Experts project that the pre-release momentum could translate into a double-digit crore opening, possibly hitting the Rs 12-15 crore mark if bookings continue to surge.
