Bigg Boss 19 took an emotionally charged turn in its latest episode as contestant Tanya Mittal broke down on national television, revealing deeply personal and traumatic memories from her childhood. The entrepreneur turned influencer shared her harrowing journey of surviving domestic abuse, narrowly escaping a forced marriage at 19, and finding the strength to reclaim her life, all sparked by a deeply hurtful comment during a nomination task.

During the high-stakes task, housemates were challenged to distract Tanya and fellow contestant Gaurav Khanna from pressing a buzzer at the 19th minute. In a shocking moment, actor Kunickaa Sadanand targeted Tanya with a personal attack, dragging her mother into the strategy. "Your mother didn’t teach you anything," Kunickaa said, a remark that visibly rattled Tanya and triggered a wave of emotion.

Though Tanya completed the task, the emotional toll was undeniable. Moments later, she broke down in tears as fellow contestants rushed to comfort her. It was then that Tanya opened up about the painful reality of her upbringing.

“My father used to beat me, and my mother would save me,” she shared, her voice trembling. “I needed permission to wear a saree or even step outside. I was 19 when they almost got me married off. I wanted to die, but I fought hard (for this freedom).”

Tanya went on to describe how her mother was the only source of protection and empowerment during those years. “My mother is my strength,” she said.
