Tamil actor Junior Balaiah passes away

Chennai: Tamil actor Raghu Balaiah popularly known as ‘Junior Balaiah’ died at the age of 70. Raghu, who was suffering from respiratory problems, breathed his last at his residence in Chennai, earlier today on November 2, 2023. 

He is the son of the late legendary Tamil actor TS Balaiah. And for the same reason, he was lovingly called 'Junior Balaih' by the film fraternity.

Raghu Balaiah was born in Thoothukudi in the year 1953. He made his acting debut in the movie called Melnattu Marumagal. In a career spanning decades, Raghu has acted in almost 50 films including Pudhu Nilavu, Cheran Chozhan Pandian, Jayam, and Nerkonda Paarvai. He had featured in certain Tamil television serials as well.

The funeral ceremony will be held on Thursday evening.
