‘I don’t like Trisha’: Singer Suchitra drops bombshell remarks on Vijay Sangeetha divorce buzz

From viral wedding reception videos to ongoing dating speculation, Vijay and Trisha Krishnan continue to dominate entertainment headlines. Now, singer Suchitra has added her voice to the ongoing conversation, sharing candid opinions about both stars during a recent interview.
“I don't like Trisha at all. I will tell this objectively and will not let it colour my judgment. I like Vijay very much. I will give my opinion honestly without taking sides,” she said, as quoted by Firstpost.

During the interview, Suchitra also spoke about Vijay’s personal and political journey. According to her, the actor has gradually distanced himself from people who were once close to him.

“Parasites tend to enter the lives of successful people when they become isolated. Vijay has isolated himself by distancing himself from his parents and wife. He is alone but has done no soul-searching till now,” she said.

She further stated that Vijay could benefit from guidance from his father, filmmaker SA Chandrasekhar, particularly now that he has entered politics.

Vijay’s wife, Sangeetha Sornalingam, filed for divorce in December 2025. However, details of the case became public in February after proceedings began at the Chengalpatty Family Welfare Court.

According to reports, Sangeetha cited infidelity and mental distress in her petition while seeking an end to their 27-year marriage. The next hearing in the matter is scheduled for June 15.
