Deepika Padukone steps into Suhana Khan’s mom role in SRK’s upcoming thriller ‘King’

Fans of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone can rejoice as the iconic duo is all set to grace the big screen together once again! The pair, who have delivered massive blockbusters such as Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express, Jawan, are gearing up for their sixth collaboration in the highly anticipated action thriller King, directed by Siddharth Anand. Their on-screen chemistry has always been a massive crowd-puller, and their reunion is already generating excitement among movie buffs.

According to reports by PeepingMoon, Deepika will play a major role as Suhana Khan’s on-screen mother, marking a new phase in her career. Despite not being the lead character, Deepika’s role will be a crucial one, playing an integral part in the film's emotional and dramatic core. According to reports, her character will be the main source of conflict in the story, making her presence all the more impactful.

The excitement surrounding this collaboration is palpable. King will be Deepika and SRK’s third consecutive film together after the massive successes of Pathaan and Jawan, with their onscreen bond growing stronger and more dynamic with each project.

Shah Rukh Khan is set to portray a deadly assassin who joins forces with a young girl, played by his own daughter, Suhana Khan. Together, they seek to avenge the tragedy that shatters her life.

Adding to the drama, Abhishek Bachchan will take on the role of the antagonist, injecting intensity into the narrative.
