‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ OTT release: How to watch the Marvel blockbuster at home

After its theatrical run, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ is making its way to digital platforms. Starring Tom Holland, Zendaya and Sadie Sink, the latest instalment in the Spider-Man franchise is set for a premium video-on-demand (PVOD) release, allowing viewers to rent or purchase the film online.
Sony Pictures has confirmed that the film will be available for digital purchase and rental from October 6, 2026. The release comes more than two months after its theatrical debut, giving fans the option to watch the superhero film at home.

‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ became available for digital viewing in the US at 12 am ET on October 6. The film is available to rent or purchase through major digital retailers, including Apple TV, Prime Video, Fandango and Sony Pictures Core.

In the US, viewers can purchase the film for $29.99 or rent it for $24.99 through Apple TV and Prime Video. An Amazon Prime membership is not required to rent or buy the title on Prime Video.
However, the PVOD release is different from a subscription-based streaming launch. Viewers will have to pay separately to rent or own a digital copy.
‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ Blu-ray and 4K release date
Fans who prefer collecting physical copies can also pre-order ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ in 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray formats. The physical editions are scheduled to arrive on December 15, 2026.
The releases will include a digital code, allowing buyers to access a digital version of the film on supported devices. A limited collector’s edition is also available for pre-order.
Will ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ stream on Netflix?
There is no officially confirmed Netflix streaming date for ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ yet. However, the film is expected to make its way to Netflix in the US under Sony Pictures’ existing streaming arrangement with the platform.
The agreement covers Sony’s theatrical releases, including films based on Marvel characters. Sony also has a broader international arrangement under which Netflix is expected to become the first subscription streaming destination for its films in individual territories, subject to the availability of the relevant rights.

Under this arrangement, the film could eventually become available on Disney+, depending on the applicable rights and streaming schedule. However, no official Disney+ release date has been announced.
