Singer Arvind Venugopal ties the knot with actor-model Sneha Ajith

Thiruvananthapuram: Arvind Venugopal, son of renowned playback singer G. Venugopal and himself a singer, got married to actor, model and dancer Sneha Ajith. The wedding ceremony was held on Friday morning at KTDC Samudra in Kovalam, with a reception planned for Sunday.

Actor and BJP MP Suresh Gopi attended the wedding. The couple got engaged in September last year, with Sneha sharing the happy news on Instagram at the time.

Following in his father’s footsteps, Arvind entered the world of music and also made a singing-acting appearance in a song sequence in the film Varane Avashyamund. He rose to prominence through cover songs featured on the Kappa TV show Music Mojo. His debut as a playback singer was in the film ‘The Train’.

Arvind has since sung for several Malayalam films, including Natholi Oru Cheriya Meenalla, Angels, My Life Partner, Sunday Holiday, Luca, Hridayam, Madhura Manohara Moham and Engilum Chandrike. He also made his Kannada debut with the film Monsoon Raaga.

Sneha, a trained classical dancer, has acted in Mammootty’s film Bazooka.
