Shaktimaan or something bigger? Allu Arjun and Basil Joseph's rumored film has fans buzzing

Actor Allu Arjun may be gearing up for a fresh pan-Indian collaboration. As per multiple Telugu media reports, Arjun is in discussions with Basil Joseph, the acclaimed Malayalam actor and filmmaker.
According to a report by Gulte, Allu Arjun was impressed with a high-concept script presented by Basil, reportedly packed with pan-India appeal. While the project is yet to receive an official green light, the film is said to be produced by Arjun’s father, Allu Aravind, under the Geetha Arts banner. Music, if the collaboration takes off, will be composed by Jakes Bejoy.
Social media speculation is rife that the film could be linked to ‘Shaktimaan’, the iconic Indian superhero IP that has been the subject of multiple reboot rumours. Basil Joseph, who was behind the hit superhero film Minnal Murali was previously attached to the Shaktimaan reboot project, which at one point was reported to star Ranveer Singh and be directed by Atlee. However, a report by Pinkvilla has clarified that the film in discussion with Allu Arjun is not related to Shaktimaan, and that conversations between Arjun and Basil remain in the early stages.
If finalised, this project will add to Allu Arjun’s expanding roster beyond Telugu cinema. The Pushpa star is already working on AA22 with director Atlee, and had earlier been linked to upcoming films with Trivikram Srinivas and Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
