Sangeeth Prathap shares heartfelt experience working on sets of 'Hridayapoorvam'| WATCH

'Hridayapoorvam', directed by Sathyan Anthikad and starring Mohanlal in the lead, is continuing to receive a strong response from audiences. The story of the film was initially developed by Sathyan Anthikad’s son, Akhil Sathyan, while another son, Anoop Sathyan, serves as the main assistant director.
The combination scenes of Mohanlal and Sangeeth Prathap in the film are drawing applause in theatres. Sangeeth, who became a favourite star of Malayalis through 'Premalu', is teaming up with Mohanlal after the film 'Thudarum'. Sangeeth shared his experiences of working on the film in a video released by the production company Aashirvad Cinemas.
“I walk shoulder to shoulder with Lalettan throughout the film. Anooppettan and Akhiletan would say, ‘You are in my next film.’ When discussing the character, Sathyan sir would say Amal Davis will come like this, do that, and then leave. Everyone used to scare us, saying we couldn’t keep up with Lalettan,” said Sangeeth Prathap.
“I was very comfortable with Lalettan even while filming. But this is a comedy, and Lalettan and I should work together. Sathyan sir also used to say that our combination should work. He said that just like Sachin and Amal Davis worked together, this film should be a combination of Lalettan and me,” Sangeeth continued.
“I came here feeling scared. But after the second or third day, we developed a strong relationship. If I arrived in the morning, I was with Lalettan until night. This was not like other sets with busy schedules—it felt like a family. This set has always felt like home to me. We would sit down for lunch after listening to the stories and experiences of people we loved the most. I don’t even know if moments like this will happen again in my life. Those 40 days were the most precious of my life, days I will carry in my heart. I feel so blessed to have been able to laugh, hear stories, and feel so much love with people I have admired since childhood, and never knew I would see again,” added Sangeeth.
