Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan's Instagram journey has already provided a few amusing moments. The actor, who joined the platform on October 11, discovered during an appearance on ‘The Great Kapil Sharma Show’ that Instagram may not be the money-making opportunity he had expected, leaving him visibly surprised.

Saif appeared on the show alongside his wife, actor Kareena Kapoor Khan. During the conversation, Archana Puran Singh explained that while Instagram does not offer the same earning opportunities, YouTube can be a lucrative platform.

"You can't earn on Instagram, but you can earn a lot on YouTube," she told Saif.

The revelation caught the ‘Hum Tum’ actor off guard. He questioned whether he had understood the platform incorrectly and wondered why he had been putting in the effort.

"I can't earn on Instagram?" he asked, before adding, "Why am I doing this?"

Kareena, meanwhile, admitted that her husband's reaction had left her worried. "You stressed me out," she said.

Saif then turned to his wife for clarification, asking, "You can't earn on Instagram? You told me I can."

Kareena reassured him that they would find a way forward, responding, "We'll figure it out."

The exchange became one of the light-hearted moments of the episode, with the couple sharing their usual playful banter.

Saif Ali Khan on attending parent-teacher meetings

The episode also saw Saif share an amusing anecdote about his long association with his children's school. The actor revealed that he had been attending parent-teacher association (PTA) meetings at the same institution for decades, having first visited it when he was just 20.

Saif explained that he has four children of different ages studying at the school, which has meant returning for meetings over several stages of his life. Now 55, he joked that even the teachers had changed during his years as a parent at the institution.

The conversation began when Archana asked Saif and Kareena, "Who goes to school in a parent-teacher meeting?"

Responding with his characteristic humour, Saif said, "First of all, I have four children in that school, at different ages. When I was 20 years old, I went for my first PTA meeting. Then I was 30 years old. I am still standing in the same school at 55. And now, even the teachers there have changed."
