The highly anticipated film Vettaiyan, starring Rajinikanth, is set to release soon, and fans are buzzing with excitement. Popular Malayalam comedian and Malayalam Bigg Boss Season 1 winner Sabumon Abdusamad steps into a villain role.

The filmmakers have recently unveiled a preview that highlights the movie's theme and showcases its impressive cast. Vettaiyan marks Rajinikanth's 170th film, making it a significant milestone in his illustrious career. Directed by T. J. Gnanavel, known for the acclaimed Jai Bhim, this film promises to deliver an engaging cinematic experience.

Star-studded cast of Vettaiyan

Previously, the crew had released a video featuring Fahadh Faasil, who plays a lead role in the movie. The video, shared on social media by the production company Lyca Productions, had quickly gone viral. This film marks the first collaboration between Fahadh and Rajinikanth. Previously, Fahadh appeared alongside Kamal Haasan in the film Vikram, where his character, Amar, gained a lot of attention. Fahadh's last Tamil film was Maamannan, directed by Mari Selvaraj.

The film also features a stellar lineup including Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, and Rana Daggubati in key roles. Other actors in the film are Sharwanand, Jisshu Sengupta, Abhirami, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, and many more. Vettaiyan is set to be released in theatres this Diwali.
