Meanwhile, reports suggest that the production team is scouting for more stars to join the cast. They are looking for two actresses to play major roles, as well as an actor to portray the villain. There are speculations that a South Indian actor may be considered for the villain's role. Earlier reports had already confirmed that Ranbir Kapoor had expressed interest in being part of Dhoom 4.
The Dhoom franchise, which first hit screens in 2004, was a 'game changer' in Indian cinema. Starring Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham, and Uday Chopra, the film broke numerous box-office records. In 2006, Dhoom 2, featuring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai in pivotal roles, was even more successful than its predecessor. The third installment, Dhoom 3, starring Aamir Khan, was released in 2013. Now, the production team of Dhoom 4 is busy with preparations for the latest chapter.
Apart from Dhoom 4, Ranbir Kapoor has several exciting projects lined up. He will star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love and War, and in Nitesh Tiwari’s film, which is based on the epic Ramayana. Love and War is scheduled for release on March 20, 2026. The Ramayana will be a two-part epic, with Kapoor playing the lead role and Sai Pallavi as the female lead. The first part is slated to release during Diwali 2026, with the second part following shortly after, as confirmed by the producers.
