Rajinikanth in Kozhikode for Jailer 2 shoot?

Ramanattukara: Tamil superstar Rajinikanth will arrive in Kozhikode to once again shine as Jailer Muthuvel Pandian. He is coming to portray the lead role in Jailer 2, which is being filmed in Cheruvannur near the city.

Filming for Jailer 2, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, began on Saturday at Sudarshan Bungalow in Kozhikode. This is the film’s main location in Kerala. The crew announced that a 20-day shoot is scheduled to take place here, under tight security arrangements.

The film is a sequel to the 2023 blockbuster Jailer, produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures and also directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. On Saturday, actors Suraj Venjaramoodu, Kottayam Nazeer, Sunil Sukhada, and several Tamil actors took part in the filming. Malayalis Suresh and Ramesh are serving as the production controllers, and Gireesh is the Kerala manager.

Several other films, including Kothu, Advaitham, Siddhartha, Munnariyippu, and Sufiyum Sujatayum, have also been shot at Sudarshan Bungalow.
