In a heartbreaking turn of events, Bhaskar, who recently underwent a liver transplant donated by his wife, Revaty, is still reeling from her sudden death. The tragic incident unfolded during the screening of Pushpa 2 at the popular Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad on Wednesday night, where a stampede ensued amidst growing crowd excitement over the presence of actor Allu Arjun.

As the crowd surged, Bhaskar’s daughter, Sanvi, started crying, prompting the family to step aside. Unfortunately, Revaty and their son, Sreethej, were caught in the chaos. Revaty fell to the ground and sustained serious injuries, leading to her death despite being rushed to the hospital. Sreethej, a huge fan of Allu Arjun, was also severely injured in the commotion and received police assistance before being admitted to the hospital.
Bhaskar continues to be in shock. "My wife is the one who gave me a new life when I fell sick," the bereaved man told TOI. Sadly, now he faces an uncertain future without his wife's support.
The police have registered a case against Allu Arjun’s team, his security personnel, and the theatre management for negligence in controlling the crowd, which contributed to the fatal incident. Allu Arjun’s team visited the hospital and confirmed they would bear the costs of Sreethej’s treatment.
