Priyanka Chopra joins Robert Downey Jr., Anne Hathaway as Oscars 2026 presenter

Actor Priyanka Chopra has been named among the presenters for the 2026 Academy Awards, marking another major moment in her growing presence in global cinema. The announcement was made on March 6, 2026, with the actor sharing the news with fans on Instagram.

Chopra simply captioned her post, “The 2026 Academy Awards,” prompting reactions from fans and members of the film fraternity. Stand-up comedian Zakir Khan congratulated her in the comments, writing, “Congratulations!! you are our hero,” while actor Hrithik Roshan reacted to the post with a like.

According to the latest announcement, Chopra will present an award alongside several prominent Hollywood figures, including Robert Downey Jr., Anne Hathaway, Gwyneth Paltrow, Paul Mescal and Will Arnett. The names were revealed as part of the third official round of presenters for the ceremony.

The presenters were announced by Raj Kapoor, the show’s executive producer and showrunner, and Katy Mullan, an executive producer of the event. Earlier announced presenters include Adrien Brody, Javier Bardem, Kieran Culkin, Chris Evans, Chase Infiniti, Mikey Madison, Demi Moore, Kumail Nanjiani, Maya Rudolph and Zoe Saldana.

This will not be Chopra’s first appearance as an Oscars presenter. She previously presented at the Academy Awards in 2016 alongside actor Liev Schreiber, drawing global attention for both her stage presence and her fashion on the red carpet.

The 2026 Oscars announcement comes during a successful period for Chopra’s international career. Her recent project The Bluff has been performing strongly on the streaming platform Prime Video, contributing to her expanding filmography in Hollywood.

In addition to her film work, Chopra has continued to make appearances at major global entertainment and fashion events. Earlier this year, she attended and presented at the Golden Globe Awards, where her custom Dior look attracted widespread attention on the red carpet. She also attended the Dior Autumn/Winter 2026–2027 showcase at Paris Fashion Week.

The upcoming ceremony will mark the 98th Academy Awards. The event is scheduled to take place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on March 15, 2026.
