'Watch out for DD 2.0... Deepak Dev has decided that he has a point to prove': Prithviraj

Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran recently took to social media to shower praise on musician Deepak Dev and sound designer Rajakrishnan MR for their exceptional work on the upcoming big-budget film L2-Émpuraan. 

The actor shared a photo with the duo on Instagram and expressed his excitement about their contribution to the movie's success.

In his post, Prithviraj wrote, "@deepakdevofficial has decided that he has a point to prove.. and @rajakrishnan_mr once again reminds me why he’s one among the absolute best in the business. Ladies and gentlemen, watch out for DD 2.0 🔥"

Directed by Prithviraj, "L2: Empuraan" is the sequel of his 2019 action thriller movie "Lucifer". Also starring Mohanlal, the upcoming film is slated to be released on March 27.

The film is a sequel to the 2019 blockbuster Lucifer and will see Mohanlal return as Khureshi-Ab'raam, aka Stephen Nedumpally. Prithviraj will also reprise his role as Zayed Masood, this time with an extended screen presence. Empuraan is produced by Lyca Productions, Aashirvad Cinemas, and Sree Gokulam Movies.

The film's production began in October 2023 in Faridabad and later moved to locations like Shimla, Leh, the UK, the US, Chennai, Gujarat, Hyderabad, the UAE, Mumbai, and Kerala.

The sequel also features Indrajith Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, Saniya Iyappan, Arjun Das, Saikumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Baiju Santhosh.
