South Indian actress Pragya Nagra has broken her silence over an alleged private video leak that has caused a stir on social media. Sharing her anguish on X, the actress condemned the misuse of technology and expressed her frustration over the ordeal.

"Still in denial, and still hoping that it’s just a bad dream that I will wake up from. Technology was meant to help us and not make our lives miserable. Can just pity the evil minds who misuse it to create such AI content and the people who help spread it! Trying to stay strong through all of this, and grateful to all the people who are there for me in these moments. I hope and pray that no other woman has to go through such an ordeal, and that all of you stay safe!," she wrote.

The video, whose authenticity is under scrutiny, has sparked debates about privacy breaches and the ethical implications of circulating explicit content online. Reports, including one from Odisha TV, suggest that it remains unclear whether the person in the video is the actress.

Pragya, a prominent social media personality with over 1.1 million Instagram followers, has made significant strides in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam cinema since her debut in the 2022 Tamil film ‘Varalaru Mukkiyam.’
