Prabhu Deva, Vadivelu reunite after 20 years for new film; Tamil audiences excited

Chennai: Iconic Tamil cinema duo Prabhu Deva and Vadivelu are reuniting after 20 years for a new film, rekindling a collaboration that defined 90s entertainment with their memorable humour sequences.
The project, directed by Sam Rodrigues, was officially launched with a pooja ceremony in Dubai on Monday. The untitled film is produced by KRG Groups, with music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Vignesh Vasu will handle cinematography, while Lewellyn Gonsalvez is in charge of editing.
This marks the seventh collaboration between Prabhu Deva and Vadivelu, following hits such as 'Kaadhalan' (1994), 'Love Birds' (1995), 'Mr Romeo' (1996),' Kaathala Kaathala' (1998), 'Manadhai Thirudivittai' (2001), and 'Engal Anna' (2004). The pair have also worked together on two of Prabhu Deva’s directorial ventures, 'Pokkiri' and 'Villu'.
