Prabhas’s highly anticipated film with renowned director Hanu Raghavapudi is set to unveil its official title and first look on October 22, 2025. This high-octane period war drama is set against the backdrop of pre-Independence India, showcasing Prabhas as a soldier leading a resilient battalion that “stands alone.” The film promises intense action and rich storytelling, blending history with cinematic grandeur.

The narrative is deeply inspired by epic themes, drawing symbolic connections to the Mahabharata. Sanskrit inscriptions featured in the promotional material, such as “Kaunteya” and “Kshatriya na vidyate,” hint at a complex storyline rooted in ancient warrior ethos and dharma-yuddha (righteous war). This thematic depth adds layers to the film, making it a culturally rich war drama.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film introduces newcomer Imanvi Esmail as the female lead, alongside seasoned actors like Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, and Jaya Prada. With an estimated budget of ₹400 crore, the movie is slated for release during the Independence Day weekend in August 2026. The team is currently working steadily to complete filming, anticipating a grand cinematic experience.

Prabhas’s work schedule includes the upcoming “The Raja Saab,” after which he will focus on this project before moving to other major ventures like “Spirit,” sequels to “Salaar” and “Kalki 2898 AD,” and collaborations with notable directors. Fans worldwide are eagerly awaiting the October 22 reveal to catch the first official glimpse of this ambitious war drama.
