Parasakthi OTT release: When and where can you watch Sivakarthikeyan’s latest film online?

Kochi: After a strong theatrical debut, Sivakarthikeyan’s Parasakthi will soon be gearing up for its digital release. Directed by Sudha Kongara, the Tamil period action drama hit cinemas on January 10 and has been drawing attention for its political backdrop, performances and grand production scale. With the film continuing its run in theatres, fans are now eager to know when Parasakthi will release on OTT.

Industry buzz suggests that the OTT rights of Parasakthi have been bagged by ZEE5. Although the makers have not officially confirmed the premiere date yet, the film is expected to stream six to eight weeks after its theatrical release, following the standard post-theatrical window.

Its digital arrival will likely be sometime in late February or March 2026.

Box office run and censor issues

Parasakthi opened to mixed reviews but has performed decently at the box office. The film initially faced censor-related hurdles, briefly affecting advance bookings, but later secured a U/A certificate. The postponement of Jana Nayagan also helped Parasakthi receive wider screen availability and additional showtimes.

Set in 1965, Parasakthi tells the story of two brothers with clashing ideologies.
