P Susheela's health stable, may leave hospital on Tuesday

Legendary singer P Susheela, who is undergoing treatment for kidney-related issues at a Chennai hospital, is reported to be stable. Doctors have stated that she is under close observation and is expected to be discharged from hospital by Tuesday.

Susheela’s family has confirmed that her health has been improving. The 88-year-old artist was admitted to a private hospital in Alwarpet on Saturday night after experiencing severe abdominal pain.

Susheela has performed over a thousand songs in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Sinhala. She has been honored with five National Awards for Best Singer and the Padma Bhushan.

She holds a Guinness World Record for recording most songs.
