'I'm not desperate; Ready to give love a chance': Nithya Menen discusses marriage and more

Actress Nithya Menen, who recently won a National Award for her role Thiruchitrambalam, shared her evolving views on love and marriage. Known for her roles in romantic films like OK Kanmani, Nithya has previously expressed doubts about love. However, she clarified that she is open to love but not actively seeking it.

In an interview with India Today, she stated, “I have always given love a chance. I want someone in my life, but I don’t subscribe to the idea of settling down just because it’s expected.” Nithya expressed her belief that love can come at any age, saying, “It might happen at 50, and I’d be happy with that. My perspective is becoming more refined; I’m not desperate to fall in love.”

Currently, Nithya is filming Idli Kadai alongside Dhanush and has another project, Kadhalikka Neramillai, with Jayam Ravi on her list.
