National Jiju did it again! Nick Jonas took Priyanka Chopra above the clouds for Karwa Chauth moon

National Jiju Nick Jonas never fails to make fans go awww, and this time, the internet is melting over a romantic Karwa Chauth moment straight out of a movie. Actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas has revealed a deeply personal and heartwarming story that once again proves why Nick is everyone’s favourite husband.

Priyanka recently appeared on The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 4, where she joined Kapil Sharma for a candid and fun-filled conversation. During the chat, the actor opened up about how Nick goes out of his way to respect and celebrate Indian traditions—especially Karwa Chauth.

“Humne itni ajeeb jagahon pe moon ko dhundhne ki koshish ki hai (We have tried to look for the moon in such strange places),” Priyanka shared.

She recalled one particular year when Nick was performing at a packed stadium with nearly 60–70 thousand people in the audience. Clouds covered the sky, rain threatened to pour, and despite waiting till 10 pm… then 11 pm, the moon refused to show up.

Just when the situation seemed hopeless, Nick pulled off a move that left everyone stunned.

“Ek romantic cheez bataun? (I will tell you a very romantic thing)” Priyanka said with a smile. “Woh apne plane mein clouds ke upar leke gaye aur chaand dikhaya… aur phir humne vrat toda.(He took me up in a plane, above the clouds, showed me the moon… and then I broke my fast.)”

When Kapil jokingly asked if she only broke her fast, Priyanka laughed and replied,

“Nahi, mithai bhi khai (No, I even ate sweets.)”

About the couple

Priyanka and Nick made their relationship public after getting engaged in July 2018. They tied the knot later that year in a grand wedding at Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur, with both Christian and Hindu ceremonies. In January 2022, the couple welcomed their daughter Malti Marie via surrogacy.
