There has been speculation recently that actress Nayanthara and filmmaker Vignesh Shivan were heading for a separation. Adding fuel to the rumours was a screenshot of a fake Instagram story, falsely attributed to Nayanthara, which contained a disparaging comment about her marriage and husband.

Now, Nayanthara has addressed the rumours directly via her own Instagram story. Sharing a playful photo with Vignesh Shivan, she captioned it: “Our reaction seeing all the nonsense news about us.” In the picture, both are seen striking a humorous pose, appearing to laugh off the gossip.

Earlier, Vignesh Shivan faced criticism for posting a photo with choreographer Jani Master, who was recently arrested in connection with a harassment case. Vignesh had captioned the post, “Sweet Master G, Team LIC loves you and your vibe.” The post drew widespread backlash, particularly because Jani is part of Vignesh’s upcoming film Love Insurance Company, which is being produced by Nayanthara herself.
