Nagarjuna’s son Akhil Akkineni marries Zainab Ravdjee in Hyderabad; first pics go viral

Hyderabad: Actor Akhil Akkineni, son of stars Nagarjuna and Amala Akkineni, tied the knot with artist Zainab Ravdjee in an intimate ceremony held in Hyderabad on Friday. The wedding, attended by close family and friends, quickly became the talk of the town as pictures from the event surfaced online.

The newlyweds were seen in traditional Telugu wedding attire, with images showing the couple holding hands and smiling alongside guests. A heartwarming moment captured Nagarjuna seated beside Akhil during a wedding ritual, while the groom folded his hands in reverence.

Among the notable attendees were Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala, along with celebrities such as Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, and director Prashanth Neel.

Both Akhil and Zainab opted for traditional Telugu wedding attire. The bride looked elegant in a pastel ivory saree paired with stunning diamond jewellery. Akhil complemented her look with a simple white kurta and dhoti.

Akhil and Zainab got engaged in November last year. Zainab, known for her abstract paintings, is the daughter of industrialist Zulfi Ravdjee. Akhil debuted as a child artist in the film Sisindri (1994), for which he won a Filmfare Special Award. He is also the captain of the Telugu Warriors cricket team that competes in Celebrity Cricket League.

Akhil made his debut as a lead actor with Akhil (2015), which won him the Filmfare Best Male Debut. He later went on to star in Hello (2017) and Mr. Majnu (2019). He achieved his commercial breakthrough with the romantic comedy Most Eligible Bachelor (2021).
