Did Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar’s Instagram activity leave fans concerned?

Rumours surrounding the marriage of Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar have intensified after fans noticed that the couple appear to have unfollowed each other on Instagram. Neither Mouni nor Suraj has publicly addressed the speculation.

The couple, who tied the knot in a lavish destination wedding in Goa on 27 January 2022, have long been admired by fans for regularly sharing glimpses of their relationship on social media. Their recent Instagram activity, however, has sparked rumours of a possible separation.

Despite apparently unfollowing one another, both Mouni and Suraj continue to keep photographs of each other on their respective Instagram profiles. Mouni’s account still features several pictures from their wedding celebrations, along with other moments shared with Suraj over the years.

Similarly, Suraj has neither deleted nor archived photographs of Mouni from his account.

The online speculation quickly prompted reactions from fans, many of whom expressed concern in the comments section of Suraj’s posts. One user pleaded with the couple not to part ways, while another questioned whether the deletion of wedding photographs hinted at an impending divorce.

Mouni and Suraj married in a private ceremony held at the Hilton Goa Resort in Candolim. Their wedding incorporated both Malayali and Bengali traditions, beginning with Malayali rituals before concluding with a traditional Bengali ceremony later the same day.

While the rumours continue to circulate online, there has been no official confirmation from either side regarding the status of their relationship.
