Mouni’s Cannes outing comes days after she and Suraj Nambiar officially confirmed their separation following weeks of speculation online.

The couple issued a joint statement requesting privacy and clarified that the separation was mutual and amicable. They also criticised intrusive media attention and false narratives surrounding their relationship.

Public curiosity intensified after Suraj temporarily deactivated his Instagram account and several old photographs featuring the couple reportedly disappeared from social media. After reactivating the account, he shared new posts without captions while disabling comments.

Despite the separation announcement, reports noted that Mouni has resumed following Suraj on Instagram.
