Popular YouTuber and actor Prajakta Koli has married her longtime partner, lawyer Vrishank Khanal, in an intimate yet grand ceremony. The couple exchanged vows on February 25 at Orleans Farms in Karjat, Maharashtra, surrounded by their closest friends and family.
The wedding, which has now taken the internet by storm, was a culmination of their 11-year-long relationship. First glimpses of the celebration have surfaced online, showcasing breathtaking moments from their special day.
Prajakta, known for her YouTube channel MostlySane, opted for Anita Dongre's custom-made lehnga that featured palm trees. Vrishank, on the other hand, looked dapper in a nature-inspired Sherwani.
The couple’s wedding portraits captured their beaming smiles and deep affection for each other. In one of the heartwarming pictures, they were seen taking their traditional pheras, symbolising their lifelong commitment.
Ahead of the wedding, the couple hosted pre-wedding festivities, including a mehendi night and an intimate haldi ceremony. Photos from the haldi event showed Prajakta and Vrishank twinning in matching outfits, with the bride-to-be in an ivory off-shoulder suit adorned with traditional jewellery, and the groom-to-be in a printed kurta and pajama. A particularly adorable moment featured Prajakta dancing on Vrishank’s lap.
A love story spanning over a decade
Prajakta and Vrishank’s journey began in 2011 when she was 18, and he was 22. Their first connection was sparked through a mutual friend, who shared Prajakta’s BBM PIN with Vrishank. The duo’s first face-to-face meeting happened during a Ganapati Pooja, where Vrishank eventually asked her out, marking the start of their long-lasting romance.
Despite facing ups and downs, their bond only strengthened over the years. Speaking about their relationship, Prajakta had previously shared that their journey had its challenges, but they never gave up on each other.
Vrishank, 34, originally hails from Kathmandu, Nepal. He pursued law at DY Patil College in Mumbai after studying at the University of Cambridge.
Prajakta Koli is one of India’s most beloved social media influencers, with over 7.23 million subscribers on YouTube and 8.5 million followers on Instagram. She made her acting debut in ‘Khayali Pulao’ and later starred in ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’ and the Netflix series ‘Mismatched.’ Recently, she ventured into writing with her debut romance novel, ‘Too Good to Be True.’
