From selling garlands to bollywood debut; Monalisa learns basics with Sanoj Mishra | WATCH

Monalisa, also known as Moni Bhosle, the 16-year-old girl who went viral on social media during the Maha Kumbh Mela, is currently taking cinema-related lessons from director Sanoj Mishra. Sanoj, who is teaching her the basics of filmmaking, has also been guiding her in reading and writing. A video from their lessons, which has gained attention on social media, shows Monalisa practising Hindi letters on a slate with a pencil in a small room.
In the video, Sanoj jokingly asks Monalisa how she uses Instagram without knowing how to read or write. Monalisa responds that she only uploads photos and does not write anything.
Sanoj Mishra had previously announced that Monalisa will be making her Bollywood debut in his upcoming film, The Diary of Manipur. After meeting Monalisa and her family, Sanoj confirmed that she would star in the film.
Monalisa will be in Kerala on February 14, Valentine's Day. A video shared by businessman Bobby Chemmanur confirms that Monalisa will be in Kozhikode, with Monalisa herself making the announcement.

People commented on her striking brown eyes and beautiful smile, with some referring to her as 'brown beauty'.
