‘Nurtured by the DEVIL!’ Mohanlal wishes Prithviraj happy birthday with ‘Empuraan’ character poster

Kochi: The excitement around Empuraan, the highly anticipated sequel to the hit film Lucifer, continues to grow as a new character poster was unveiled on Prithviraj's birthday. Directed by Prithviraj and featuring the legendary Mohanlal, this film marks the second instalment of Prithviraj's directorial journey.

In Empuraan, Prithviraj reprises his role as Zayed Masood, a character that left a lasting impression in Lucifer. The new poster, released by Mohanlal, describes the character as "Forsaken by God…nurtured by the DEVIL!" adding intrigue to the storyline.

Empuraan is produced by Laika Productions, known for several successful films, in collaboration with Aashirvad Cinemas. This pan-Indian film will be released in multiple languages, including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. The screenplay is written by Murali Gopi, who also penned the script for Lucifer.

The film features a talented cast, including Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Shine Tom Chacko. Cinematography is handled by Sujith Vasudev, with music by Deepak Dev and art direction by Mohandas. The action sequences are choreographed by Stunt Silva, and filming is taking place in various international locations.
