Mammootty FINALLY breaks silence on AMMA controversy, says “they are only small matters”

The controversy surrounding the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) continues to make headlines after the organisation's executive committee resigned en masse amid growing criticism and internal disputes.
The developments came in the wake of mounting pressure on the actors' body, with discussions around its administration, leadership and future direction dominating conversations within the Malayalam film industry. The mass resignation of the executive committee further intensified the situation, leaving several questions about the association's next steps.
Amid the ongoing uncertainities, Mammootty was recently asked about the controversy and whether he had any comments on the matter.
Responding to the media, the actor said:
"I was wondering why nobody asked that. Let it happen. Let a decision come. I can only say, wait and see how things unfold. We can only wait and see everything, right? The next moment is not in our hands. All the problems will be resolved. They should be resolved. They will be resolved. They are only small matters."
Mammootty did not elaborate further on the issue but expressed confidence that the problems facing the organisation would eventually be revolved.
His remarks come at a time when the future course of AMMA remains under discussion following the committee's collective resignation.
