Malayalam’s superhero universe, spearheaded by Dulquer’s production house, features Kalyani in a never-before-seen avatar

The first look poster and title of the seventh film produced by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films have been officially unveiled. Titled Lokah – Chapter One: Chandra, the film marks the beginning of an ambitious superhero cinematic universe. Starring Kalyani Priyadarshan and Naslen in lead roles, the film is being mounted on a grand scale, with Kalyani portraying a superhero character.

Directed and scripted by Dominic Arun, Chandra is set to be the first instalment in a series of films forming the LOKAH superhero cinematic universe. The poster release has generated significant excitement and anticipation among film enthusiasts, hinting at a narrative backdrop never before seen in Malayalam cinema. Both Kalyani, in her superhero avatar, and Naslen feature prominently in the visually striking poster.

The film also stars Chandu Salimkumar, Arun Kurian, and Santhy Balachandran.

While the cinematography is handled by Nimish Ravi, makeup is by Ronex Xavier. Jithu Sebastian is in charge of art direction, while action choreography is by Yannick Ben

Given the scale, genre, and novelty of the concept, expectations are high among audiences, who are eagerly awaiting this multi-part cinematic venture.
