‘Living that dream now’; Shyamaprasad’s daughter Shivakamy shines in ‘Lokah’

Actress Shivakamy Shyamaprasad has expressed her gratitude for being part of Lokah: Chapter One – Chandra, a film that is turning into a historic success in Malayalam cinema.
Taking to Instagram, Shivakamy wrote that she is now living the dream she was invited into a year ago. “Last year this time I was called to be part of a dream and now I’m living a Dreeeeam. Someone pinch me? Eternally grateful to @dominic_arun @nimishravi and @santhybee for making me a part of this magical world. Hugs to @deepakstalindevan and @vivek_anirudh for calling me in to be Roopa.” she wrote.
Adding further, she said, “My cute friends hyping me up for all my big and small wins. And you guys for your kind words of appreciation and support. Means sooooo much.”
In the film, Shivakamy plays the role of Roopa, the friend of Sunny, a character portrayed by Naslen. She delivered a notable performance in one of the film’s most crucial sequences.
Sivakamy is daughter of acclaimed filmmaker Shyamaprasad. Earlier, she had worked as an assistant director in Kazhchayil, a segment directed by Shyamaprasad in the anthology Manorathangal, which was based on short stories by M.T. Vasudevan Nair.
